Bell Orchestra

Dedicated to the Northern Bell Orchestra in the UK, 'Bell Orchestra' is a fun and engaging piece celebrating how people get together and play handbells. To Isaac, handbells are not only instruments, but also a platform in getting people together. There is somehow a special connection created by handbells, which Isaac thinks is the main value of handbell music. By having this piece as the first piece of the catalog, Isaac hopes to deeply engrave this value.

Starting in 6/8 time, the piece surprisingly moves to 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 times, along with a key change. Techniques include LV, Mallet on Table, Shake, Suspended Mallets, and Martellato Lift. 

It was world-premiered by the Northern Bell Orchestra at the International Handbell Symposium 2026 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
